Our Cable Coating is a non-halogenated, asbestos-free, non-toxic, flexible, ablative fire retardant cable coating designed to prevent the propagation of fire along plastic jacketed electrical cables. The cable coating is FM approved and tested to ensure it can withstand extreme conditions such as freeze/thaw cycles and salt water immersion. This testing also ensures that the protective coating does not de-rate the cables current carrying capacity. It is made out of  water based latex and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.
